First, the exciting news -- Baxter is daytime potty-trained! I used Toilet Training in Less Than a Day as a guideline and Sunday we did a potty training boot camp. Potty training boot camp, in case you're wondering, involved me and Baxter alone in the living room all day with no toys, no tv, no distractions at all, just drinking tons of liquids and talking about and practicing using the potty. It made for one fairly dull and unpleasant day for me, but the up-side is that it seems to have worked -- since that day Bax has only had one accident. He's very excited about being a big boy and wearing underpants, and we constantly talk about all the people who are so proud of him (that's you, readers!).
Next, a short video clip of Baxter's first school "performance." It's only 30 seconds so look quick or you'll miss him (he's on the far right dressed as a baker).

Way to go Baxy! Potty training ain't easy.
And great performances by the Bax -- what ever happened to that shy boy we once knew??
